Hostess
The face of Nook. Personable and happy, willing to bounce around, handling phones with proper etiquette, assisting with grab & go orders and always ready with a helping hand.
Barista / Grab & Go
Takes coffee, tea and specialty-drink orders and makes them with ease and consistency, keeps the machines clean, and fulfills all grab and go orders along with cash-handling duties.
Server / Food Runner
Goes above and beyond for the guest: describes the menu and food, takes orders accurately and efficiently, enters them into the POS, and keeps tables and sections clean at all times.
Kitchen Crew

The backbone of Nook. A hustler, dependable and meticulous, willing to clean everything, anywhere, at any time.
What we look for

Experience
At least two years of restaurant or cafe experience is recommended.

Availability
Restaurant hours are posted; be willing to vary your hours for catering and to-go orders, have a way to and from the location, and be ready to make the occasional delivery and pay a parking fee.

Grooming
Body clean, uniform clean, short nails, and hair up.

Expectations
Responsible, sensible and courteous. Determined to come to work with a smile and on time. There is no such thing as “that’s not my job.”
